The open MLM training secret that every successful MLM trainer knows and that 90 to 95% of distributors fail to understand is, “Nobody cares about your company!” As in your face as this may all sound, we are more likely to be drawn to the individual than the company. A good trainer reading these statements is saying “right on” and most distributors are saying “huh?” “What do you mean, nobody cares about my company? I hear you say, “By every realistic measurement known to man, my company is well run with many things going for it.” ”All of our segments are picked based on good organic growth potential, and followed up by going with good in demand products.” ”Success for my company is all but guaranteed.” Well congrats. You may love your company, but honestly, most are rather undifferentiated. Nothing in your prior statements really makes any difference, leave it for the company brochures. People are much more likely to be drawn to you, than your baby the company.

Without fail, creating the warm list is the beginning of all MLM training. Every MLM trainer is genetically wired to prod you(let’s say strongly encourage), to come up with a list of potential customers and distributors. Rare is the person who dives into this rather icky item on their to-do-list. Meaning, they used to be my friends until I called them. Making the list is a piece of cake, but the thought of calling feels more like you’re a death row inmate getting your last meal. So why is such an old school method used to begin such a 21st century venture? This ‘warm list’ goes cold fairly fast, so is it really necessary to create the thing? Good MLM trainers know it is highly unlikely you are going to start out by attracting total strangers. Unless you have a magnetic charm for attracting total strangers, your pool of potential distributors is logically your family and friends. Having had some success with family and friends, you have more confidence to approach those you do not know as well. That self-confidence and experience is quite important when you shift your focus to those that don’t know you as well. At this point perhaps you can see, that all those good things about your company are helpful, but your success will really be about you and people being drawn to what they see in you.

Have a vision and they will follow. Not some impersonal ‘company’, but a self-confident person with a vision is what’s going to help them make their dreams happen. Are the pieces of the MLM puzzle coming together for you? A good company is important, but a good leader with a vision: Priceless. Get this concept down and you already have a lead on the rest of the pack. Quite simply, if you have done all the things necessary to have an online presence; when they leave that website, above all else be sure they come away knowing you, your name and your vision. Rather than being “that guy” you should focus on branding yourself.

Wondering just how you accomplish that when everything is online? First, expand your warm list by using an online lead generation system, then start networking and quietly begin presenting yourself as an expert. ”Ok, I am beginning to see what you are getting at, but I have totally no idea how to accomplish it” Rather than sending people to a replicated company site that does not work. Create your own personally branded sales funnels on the web with personalized lead capture pages, personally branded videos, and automatic follow ups that build value and trust with your prospects. This will begin the process of showcasing your talents and building an image of expertise and credibility with prospects. An added bonus is all the web skills and knowledge of MLM you gain, that further adds to your ‘expert’ image. Talking with you and seeing your accomplishments, douses some of that fear all prospects have and starts their own creative juices flowing. All of a sudden they realize they have an ‘expert’ that has a lot of what they need, as they begin the journey of fulfilling some of their dreams through online MLM.

Observe how there has been an easy transferring of attention from your company and onto you. Your own individual talents and accomplishments now have much more value in the eyes of the that prospect, than the company and/or products being considered. Now the timing is perfect, they now know you and trust you. They have received good solid expert online MLM training, now complete the picture, share your view of the company and get moving with fulfilling both of your dreams. Hopefully you now realize, it is not that undifferentiated company, but YOU that is going to make good things happen for you and those that join with you!|Couple the more common MLM model, the power of the Internet and today’s cutting edge online MLM training and just hold on baby, just hold on
