Who wants to be around negative people anyway? They’re running around with their heads stuck up their butt, feeling depressed and sorry for themselves like the world centers around them and owes them something.

Well guess what you’d better stop and think twice because nobody owes you anything. I personally look at negative people as a nasty swamp that likes to sink as many people into their hole as possible.

Why are they being so negative? People are usually negative because of several reasons it could be just their life in general and what I mean by this is they may hate their job, relationship or marriage or could be experiencing financial problems.

Whatever their circumstances are it’s allowing them to feel like they are trapped inside of something they cannot get out of and so they lose their self esteem in the process.

I personally wouldn’t spend to much time trying to figure out why someone is so negative. The best thing you can do for yourself is focus on staying positive and there are different of ways doing this.

Stay away and keep a smile on your face also keep your comments to yourself. Besides they’re just sitting back waiting to get a response back from you that’s what keeps them thriving. If you allow them to get you then I promise you they will definitely start draining your energy.

Override negative comments with positive comments. Whenever you rephrase a positive comment over a negative one then it can throw them off completely this may not work the first time so you have to keep doing it and hopefully they’ll get the picture.

You can use certain words like enthusiastic, awesome, great and super good and getting better that’s if they ask how you’re doing of course. By you being in a positive mood there’s a possibility that it will affect them in a good way.

Don’t put up a struggle with negative people because its worthless and a waste of your time and energy. Nevertheless, if you were to argue with them then it starts a ball of confusion and I promise you they won’t pay attention to anything you’re saying so again you want to override them by saying something positive.

Are you trying to make yourself feel wanted? Is this a good reason for you to sit back and listen to a negative person? Does it make you feel worthy of anything? If it does then it’s time for you to take a step back to reevaluate yourself and see what’s going on in your life because listening to negative conversations over and over again isn’t healthy for anyone.

However, if you learn to ignore a negative person long enough they usually will find someone else to hang around and bug.

Being positive has its advantages also. You’ll notice that the less you are negative and stop yourself then your even thinking negative by saying something positive the more people will become attracted to you by wanting to hang around you and become friends with you. That’s because there’s always a desire for people like this in our community.

Hopefully this article helps and was beneficial to you.
