Can you make money in a homebased business? Being your own boss fills a successful entrepreneurs soul. The desire is so strong it outweights most everything else. Being in business for themselves is a must. They understand that it takes hard work, determination and self-motivation to blossom as a homebased business owner. They love and live this everyday.
Think about these questions: What is your level of self-control? Will obstacles stop your from completing your task? Do you have control over your money? Can you organize yourself and a homebased business? What is your skill to keep accurate business records?
You can always bring your skill set up to meet the challenges of your homebased business. An entrepreneur will always perform through any challenge.
You must have a mindset for success. An entrepreneur must have the faculty to push past the blocks in the road and continue on. Think back to your younger days. When you worked for neighbors to earn money to spend or save. Maybe you cut grass around the neighborhood or babysat for your parents' friends.
You were an entrepreneur and never even heard that word. That is when your homebased business mindset started. Work hard from home to earn money. That's what you knew. The relationship of hard work and reliability meant you could buy something.
That entrepreneur mindset has connected with you at a soulful level. Your want , screams to be released and start your own "thing", your homebased business.
Remember that your "thing" includes customers, some nice and some not so nice. Like those youthful days of cutting the neighbors grass or baby-sitting or the lemon aide stand or the garage sell…
If you did not satisfy the customer, they left you. Be ready to provide grand customer care, even when the customer is not nice. The larger your customer base the more skills you need in handling the complainers.
You will be finding new customers if you can not consitently meet their deadlines. Are you willing to perform as much as needed in your homebased business to complete the project? This could mean working late into the night or skipping an important event so you can finalize the work for your customer.
Do you work well alone? With no time clock or boss around to keep you working, will you be able to "Do" the work in your homebased business? It is easy to get sidetracked. Put systems in place to keep you on track. When a distraction pops up be prepared to thrust is aside. The more you let those little things distract you during the day, means more late nights to meet your customer's needs.
Fear stops more homebased business entrepreneurs than anything else. You will always come across tasks or needs you have never dealt with before. Do you have the courage it takes? Can you push past the fear as well as complete the needed task? What are your current limitations that you know fear stops you from doing, such as, bungee jumping (not really a business example, but you get the point). The minute my customer mentions bungee jumping, I would run the other way, thus loosing my customer.. Where is your level of courage? A strong couragous will is needed to find success as a homebased business entrepreneur.
Spend a few honest minutes evaluating your abilities.
Keep in mind that you are determined and unstoppable. You will succeed in your homebased business.
