Is the money really in a huge list, here are a few list truths. A sizeable list does not automatically equate to success. There is no doubting that with a big list there is a greater chance of making a sale but the secret is not the size of your list its the type of people on it. Your list is made up of a number of different types of people ande you need to appeal to them all if you want to monetise them

You should always focus on getting more new leads on your list rather than thinking about its overall size. The secret to list success is to not worry about people unsubscribing. Expect that people are going to unsubscribe and plan for it by always seeking new leads. If your generating fresh new leads to your list daily well who really cares if a few unsubscribe. Not everybody who walks into the shop buys so why should you expect your list to be any different.

With that contemplation in mind there are some things that every list owner should do but don't because they fear loosing people off their list. Who cares just get more leads because thats really what determines how quick you will grow your business and how many sales you will get.

The secret with using email marketing with network marketing or MLM is to market to your list aggressively. Email them twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon but don’t bombard them with sales offers. as it does not work. In saying that make sure you always include a link somewhere in your email as believe it or not this will train people to click on your links. This means that when you do post an offer you will get more click throughs to your sales page which can only result in more sales.

Consistant emailing is the answer and I send out twice, once in the morning about 8am and then again in the afternoon about 4pm Being consistent with your aggressive marketing trains your list to become more responsive. Humans are creatures of habit and respond well to routine. Be consistent with your delivery and people will subconsciously become habitual readers.

To break up my offers I generally send out a story or an answer to a problem with a link to beneficial information in the morning In the afternoon I send out a short email sometimes with an offer, but always with a call to action. Sometimes this is a sales pitch, other times it’s an invitation to a webinar or a link to an affiliate product. Always mix it up to keep interest from different types of people on your list.

The final word -your wealth is not in the size of your list but the responsiveness of your list. Don’t be offended if people opt out and most importantly focus on attracting new leads every day. The secret to list sales success isn't the size of your list its list responsiveness. Remember your goal in list building is to capture like minded people not the whole world.
