Many people believe that the noise level produced by an electric shaver is one the most important factors involved in the buying decision. If you end up with an electric razor that hurts your ears when you are shaving close to them, you are most likely to stop using it completely and switch to a quieter means of shaving.

The Panasonic ES8103S is NOT the quietest electric shaver that you can buy but it is quieter than many of the other similarly priced electric razors on the market. There are hundreds of reviews of this electric shaver online and most are extremely positive. The noise level that the Panasonic ES8103S emits is not a typical complaint about this electric razor.

The Panasonic ES8103S Electric Shaver will give you one of the closest shaves that you could possibly imagine from an electric razor. This is because of the way that the shaver is designed. The Panasonic ES8103S features 3 independent floating blades that are arched at a 30 degree angle. Match that with a pivoting head that's designed to contour to your skin and you have one of the closest shaves available from an electric razor on the market today.

The slit foil design makes this electric shaver perfect for long beards that most other electric razors can't handle. This is because the slit foil is designed to easily catch long beard hairs, providing a closer shave no matter the length of your facial hair.

On top of giving you a close shave, the Panasonic ES8103S doesn't pull on your facial hair like many other electric shavers. Most customers rave about the fact that they don't get razor burn or skin irritation from using this shaver.

The Panasonic ES8103S takes a full hour to charge from 0% power to 100% and includes an LCD panel that shows the amount of charge that the electric razor has in 10% increments. The indicator will glow while charging and will blink when finished. Once the shaver's charge gets down to 10% it will only hold enough power for two more shaves.

The unit will hold a charge for approximately 14 shaves of 3 minutes each. Be aware, however, that many people take more than 3 minutes to shave. The average person can expect to get about 6 good shaves out of this electric shaver per charge.

The lifetime of the Panasonic ES8103S is approximately 2 years, judging by consumer information. There was a lot of confusion about the length of the warranty on the Panasonic ES8103S. Some people said 1 year, some websites said 2 years, and one website even said 3 years. Since I couldn't find a definitive answer, I took the initiative to call up Panasonic directly. So, for anyone who was wondering, the warranty of the Panasonic ES8103S is for 2 years. That puts it perfectly in line for when this electric razor typically stops working.
