MLM Prospecting is definitely a must when it comes to working your MLM business.....I mean it is ESSENTIAL! Nevertheless, it must be observed that you will find 4 primary personality types you need to be familiar with.

In the next series of posts, I will go through each of the 4 of these prospect personality types in depth and talk about not simply what makes each one of these tick, but also tips on how to these individuals and convert these prospects into new home business partners.

Now a lot of people refer to these types of personalities as Fire, Ice, Wind, Water or Red, Blue, Green, Yellow or possibly Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring. But, it doesn't matter how you equate the name to any of these, the fact remains that the qualities stay pretty much the identical for each. Furthermore, a lot of people have a blend of these characteristics; I call this bleeding personalities, so bear that in mind.

Remember that MLM prospecting is not actually all about the potential customer talking and you just answering, but as well as you assuming a little control and asking them questions too. Not every person is going to want to enroll with you and neither do you want them on your team. Try and mirror your prospective distributor as best you can, but understand what to look for!

The first personality type I would like to focus on in this article is...

The Fire Personality
The one thing you need to know about these people is that they are highly motivated by MONEY. Whenever there is a buck to be made or an avenue to earn money, these types are going to find it!

Next, these personality types LOATHE bosses and getting told what to do. When they see a cause in their mind not to do something because it interferes with their vision, they will likely incinerate the rules and rebel. Additionally, they are Extremely Impatient and will definitely speak over you if you can't get to the point or start to bore them. I am guilty of this trait, I must confess.

Bear in mind, these are not bad folks, they're just no-nonsense, head strong individuals!

So, how do you convert these combustible personalities into an MLM Prospecting advantage?

First, Talk about the MONEY. Begin talking about your company's compensation plan and let them discover how they could generate an obscene amount of cash fairly quickly. Go over the Bonuses, the Residuals and if possible, hook up these people with someone in your upline or crossline that is also a fire personality; these people often respond to Leadership, so make certain you can connect them with somebody that can mirror their intent to make money.

In the following post, I'll be speaking about the Ice Personality and ways to successfully use MLM Prospecting techniques with the Ice Personality.
