Professional sports fans will also appreciate Denver since it is home to four major sports teams. If you love baseball, you can go take in a Colorado Rockies game during the fall at Coors Field. If football's your preferred sport, the Denver Broncos of the NFL are a great way to pass a weekend at their home at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Colorado Avalanche is Denver's National Hockey League team, and the Denver Nuggets represent the National Basketball Association. In addition, lesser known but still highly popular and entertaining sports teams that make their home in Denver include the Colorado Mammoth, which is part of the National Lacrosse League, and Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids. Overall, Denver's got a little something for everyone. The great thing is you don't even have to search that hard to find what you're looking for.
