Having been a snorer for a number of years, I decided to look at the best natural or non-invasive methods to help to reduce my snoring to acceptable levels, or ideally, to cure it altogether. Here are some of the methods that worked for me.

I was always at my worst when sleeping on my back. This is typical for many snorers; they roll onto their back during the night and frequently breathe through their mouths, rather than their noses.

I discovered that by ensuring that I slept on my side at night that the snoring was massively reduced. Some people place a pillow between their legs or behind their backs; others have tried the old trick of sewing a tennis ball into the back of their pyjama top.

I personally, decided to use a special pillow, constructed of memory foam, which would encourage me to adopt a side sleeper position. It would also elongate my neck slightly, encouraging a clearer airway. The results were excellent. I also felt that I slept much better. I used to suffer from a little neck and shoulder pain most mornings, but this pillow was comfortable and actually alleviated those issues.

Another snoring device that many find extremely effective is the snoring chin strap. As mouth breathing is a very common problem with snorers, the snoring chin strap holds the mouth closed at night, encouraging nose breathing. These are said to work very well.

Being overweight, excessive alcohol consumption and smoking are also contributing factors to snoring. Reduce these problems and you will likely see a marked improvement in your condition.

Finally, if you suffer from allergies and are often congested at night, use decongestants or see your doctor. This can also make mouth breathing, and snoring, less likely. These are just a few tips that can help solve your snoring condition.
Author Resource:- I am a cured snorer and have written on the subject for many years. I cured my snoring with the use of Snoring Aids like the snoring pillow, and have also found great success with other snoring and sleep apnea cures. All can be bought online relatively cheaply.
