Professions You Should Use While Leveling WOW

Not to long ago I did a post titled Level Before You Do Anything Else! The reason being is because you can make anywhere close to $10,000 gold just through leveling, but because it is not until you hit 85 can you begin amassing crazy gold and things to use in the game.

I use to think that once you hit 85 then the game just kind of ends, but the truth is that it almost just begins. But during this process of leveling I have learned that there certain professions used while leveling.

Professions Used While Leveling

Mining/Herbalism
Archeology
Cooking
Fishing
The reason I choose Mining and Herbalism is because you actually get experiance with each node you collect. I have actually leveled several toons through the 70's just by mining and herbalism.

Plus if you choose a crafting profession after capping out on leveling you will have one of the main accompanying professions maxed out. That way you dont have to start over on two professions, just build up the one.

I also like these two gathering professions because you can make an extra $200-$500 a day with them.

The same is true for Archeology. There are ways of making gold with it, but more important is the experience you gain from using it. Helping you level quicker!

Now I also do cooking and fishing because it helps to have these things as you are soloing. Plus some of the buffs you get from the higher recipes can help out raiders and they will buy them.

Fishing because there are so many fish recipes. For instance I know on my server Firefin fish are almost never on the server, but they are used for a lot of things. So I am always stopping and picking up a few in my favorite fishing spots, and will sell them for $2-$5 bucks a fish. I know for fire oil, something that achemy needs, will buy them in groups of 2. So that is how I list them.
