There are unfortunate cases of immigrants from poor countries who work for decades in richer countries like the U.S. and the middle-eastern countries and save a fortune and go back to their home countries hoping to invest the money and multiply it. Tragically, they invest the money in some hair-brained business scheme, or even if it is a legitimate business, they don't know how to run it and end up losing money. The reason? Lack of business acumen due to lack of education.
On the other hand, you have graduates from Harvard who are educated and enlightened and are so because of their close association with the brightest minds in the world. These students know how to make millions because they have learnt about the world and its ways from the undisputed experts and when they go out into the big bad world, they have learnt how to be prudent and what are the best practices and hence they prosper financially.
