Keeping your kitchen looking nice and clean will help to keep it hygienic for you and everyone else. Almost every area of your kitchen is a suitable place for germs and bacteria to grow and colonize and if you leave your food laying out in the open air, that can be quite an unhealthy thing. And so it becomes very important that you try to maintain a daily or weekly cleaning schedule in order to keep these germs and bacteria at bay and to help you keep your kitchen looking nice and clean. Next, we will go over some of the things that you can do to help you create a better cleaning task list for your cleaning routine.

Kitchen counter top tends to be the number one place in the kitchen where you'll find actively growing germs and bacteria. The kitchen counter top gives germs plenty of surface area to dwell in. Your kitchen counter top is where you'll have your food laying around most of the time, so it is imperative that you do your best job to keep it clean. One of the most effective way to get your kitchen counter top really cleaned is to use a kitchen cleaning sprayer that has bleach mixed in it. Alternatively, you could also use hot water with dish washing soap and a sponge if you prefer. As long as you keep the water hot, it should work quite well at killing off any germs and bacteria.

Moping is the next major thing that should be incorporated into your daily kitchen cleaning task. This will serve to get rid of any nasty germs, dirt, and debris that is stuck to the floors. It is advisable for you to use floor moping detergent with hot water as this combination works best to not only kill off any tiny living bacteria on the floor, but also helps to loosen up any stuck on dirt. If you don't have one already, then it is suggested that you buy a steam mop as these will free you up from having to stroll around a moping bucket and replenish it with hot water.

Next up on our list of things to clean are the kitchen cabinets. Make sure that you really wipe down the exterior of the cabinets and if there is space above your cabinets be sure to wipe that down really good too. Dirt and dust can really collect and build in these areas so make sure that you don't overlook these. When wiping off the dust, it is a good idea to use some kind of static charged duster towel so that all the dust doesn't fly free.

Lastly, you have to make sure that you clean your kitchen appliances thoroughly. This includes your refrigerator, oven, microwaves, toaster, etc. It there is a lot of grease and oil in your oven, then you can use a degrease to help remove it easily. You might notice that there are lots of baked on grease in your oven and these are very tough to get rid off even with a degrease. If this is the case, you can try to turn your oven on high and let it run for about half an hour. This will help to loosen up the baked on grease and makes it easier to clean off once the oven is cooled back down.

Make sure that you include the cleaning components that we have mentioned in order to maintain a clean kitchen that will be ready for you to use the next time you need it.
