If you’re serious about building your network marketing business, then sponsoring more distributors is something that you need to focus on. While there are many reasons why recruiting should be a focus of yours if you’re serious about your business, one of the most important reasons is it is the fastest way to the top position in your company’s compensation plan. In addition, it’s also the only way to create leverage in your business whereby you can profit from the efforts of other people.

In this short article, I’ll give you 4 tips that will definitely help you in your recruiting efforts:

1. Have The Right Posture - In a nutshell, if you want to become a good recruiter, it’s critical that you maintain the right posture. You can’t possibly be a good recruiter if you’re constantly begging people to join. Always keep in mind that without posture and confidence, recruiting quality people will be almost impossible. Remember, you have the opportunity that they need. You shouldn’t have to beg them to look at it or join.

2. Make And Call Your Chicken List - By definition, your Chicken List are people that you may look up to because they already have a thread of success in their background. At the very least, they are people that are centers of influence and have a tremendous amount of credibility. Now, you may be thinking, “There’s no way I’m contacting that person. They wouldn’t need this.” And, that’s exactly why you should connect with them. While it may be a bit uncomfortable approaching someone on your Chicken List, the people that are in your Chicken List are the very same people that would explode your business because they are most likely the most ambitious and self-motivated people in your market.

3. Have A Sense Of Urgency - A big part of recruiting is being excited and having a sense of urgency. Nobody wants to listen to or follow a lackadaisical person. And, not having a sense of urgency de-edifies the opportunity because it minimizes the opportunity’s importance. The topic of edification brings us to number 4...

4. Edify, Edify, Edify - Edification is a critical part of the recruiting process. It’s important that you edify your business partners and your upline leadership team. The purpose is not to boost their ego, but so they can have more power and authority to help enroll your prospects in the business for you.

In closing, while having a basic understanding of what to actually say to people is obviously important, it’s just as important to understand these intangible concepts of recruiting. If you apply them and duplicate them to your team, there’s no doubt that you’ll be able to take your team’s recruiting to new heights.
