Reason #4 as to why people fail at Internet/Network Marketing

For the last two days I have been enlightening you with my top six reasons why anyone fails at internet or network marketing. Really, these reasons are pretty universal and can apply to just about anything in life. If you joined us late, you will have to catch up so here's a little recap from the last two articles.
" Reason number six is not paying attention. Sometimes we get so caught up within ourselves and mentally preparing for our "pitch" we forget to pay attention and either miss a lead or totally annoy someone because we missed the sign, and they are simply not interested.
" Reason number five is a common mistake and can, probably, be combined with another common mistake so I used these two somewhat interchangeably, and they are thinking everyone is a prospect and not learning or receive training. I cannot stress enough the importance of proper training.
When Mike, a twenty year employ with Company X decided to start his own business, he chose one that allowed him to utilize the free training he had received over the last twenty years. It doesn't matter what business Mike decided to open, he knows what works, how to treat employs, and he has built relationships that, hopefully, will allow him to succeed.
Now, Internet marketing brings out a different breed, and sometimes what we have learned over the years may not be suitable for this marketing game, but have no fear, there is training available, some free, and some may cost, but in the long run, the training will pay off ten-fold. with this training will come marketing success.

Okay, reason #4 as to why people fail at internet/network marketing:
" Buying the hype that this business is not sales. Your sponsor or up line is going to tell you that it's not sales, "We just share or buy products." If your sponsor says this to you, run. Run as fast as you can, and don't look back.
Folks, this business is, in my opinion, 85-90 percent sales. Why? Well, when you started speaking to your mother, or father, brother, or cousin, did you find yourself defending your product, enticing them with your discount, or even offering to buy their way into business because you are that sure it works?
I cannot stress this enough, and that's why I made this mistake number four of my top six, as it relates to reason number five. YOU need to get proper training. Look at the 3% who are extremely successful in this business. Most either have a sales background, and know how to "close" the deal, or they have received tons upon loads of training.
Think of it this way: The training will help you stop the family chasing, it will help you save time because you will not feel compelled to explain your business to people who do not understand or are close-minded; they won't see the potential, and it will help understand who is a worthy prospect because they will prospect you; they will demand entry into your business because you have the leadership qualities they desire. What's ironic is that most have the same skills and leadership abilities; they just need a chance to shine.

Training is one of the most essential aspects of this business. Take ten minutes and witness the internet hype. Five billion peopl use the internet and how many ofthose are trying to get the others into their business. Who wins? The ones who have the proper training do, will that be you?
