If you’re looking to market online, or you’re currently marketing on the internet, chances are you’re considering starting a blog or have one already. In my opinion, to to truly use the principles of attraction marketing, it just makes sense to start a blog so you can build your personal brand. Having a blog helps you to have a central hub to direct visitors to that contains a lot of your content. Also, funneling traffic into your blog gives the opportunity for your visitors to get familiar with you even before they subscribe to your list. This alone can potentially increaseconversion and gives you a slightly higher quality email list. Obviously this is just my opinion, and you might not agree with me. But right now, almost 7 out of 10 of my email subscribers come through my blog in one form or another.
In this article, I’ll give you three easy tips you can utilize to make your blog stand out from the crowd:
#1. Post Useful And Valuable Content On Your Blog Consistently – Providing relevent content consistently on your blog not only allows you to interact with your visitors but compels them to come back periodically. It’s this nucleous of loyal readers that will most likely subscribe to your list. It’s important to note that while you’re just starting your blog, you should commit yourself to posting a couple of times a week.
One last note, make sure you interact with your blog readers. For example, if someone leaves a comment, make sure you respond so they feel a genuine connection with you. This interaction will go a long way and increase your reader-to-subscriber ratio.
#2. Post Comments On Other Blogs – Posting relevant comments on other people’s blog posts will compel readers to click through your link and check out your blog. However, it's very important to make sure your comments are adding value to the blog post. This is not a time to spam someone else’s content. Besides the fact that it is disrespectful to the blog owner, spamming will only de-edify you and no one will want to check out your blog.
#3. Actively Drive Traffic To Your Blog – Using videos, articles, social media and forums to drive visitors to your blog will also bring high quality visitors. When people find your blog through another piece of your content, chances are you have someone who likes and agrees with you in one way or another. And when a readerfeels a connection with you before they even land on your blog, you can bet that when they do find your blog, they will subscribe and listen what you have to say.
One note on this, make sure you have an opt-in box for people to submit their information on your blog, and put it in a easy-to-find area on your site. You’ll waste a lot of time building your blog and driving traffic to it, and not having a way for people to subscribe.
Building a successful blog definitely takes time and commitment. With that said, if you’re willing to put in the time and effort, you can build an awesomelead generating blog. And, isn’t that what you want? Think about it, what would a steady flow of 40-50 leads a day do for your network marketing business?
