Time Management and the Value of Compounding. I have been giving a lot of thought in the past week.
A person I sponsored last week asked "how long will it take to be successful?" How do you answer that question?
Well here is my attempt. It will take as long as it takes, but you have to realize the value of time and that once it is gone it is gone. You only have a certain amount of time let us say you are going to commit 1 hour a day to succeeding in your business will that be enough? Then let's say I commit to two hours a day over the course of the week I will have worked seven hours more than you, over the course of a month I now have put an extra 30 hours more and over the course of a year 365 more hours which if you work a 40 hour week I just put in 9.125 extra weeks in the first year.
Now let see how many of the gurus out there only worked two hours a day when they were starting out and I am only guessing but I would say none of them. Or at the very least they take advantage of great tools.
One of my new found mentors is David Wood and I know for a fact he uses Automatic Article Submitter and My Lead System Pro and many other tools that streamlines his business. By using tools the power of compounding is greatly multiplied.
If it takes ten minutes to post your article on one site and Automatic Article Submitter does 300 sites in ten minutes how much time have you saved about 50 hours. You would save more than you work or most people would.
So back to the original question how long will it take to be successful? Here is my simple and not so simple of an answer.
It will take as long as it takes you to learn and train yourself with the basic principles of success. And after that just as important is your ability to take the required action to get the results you are working for.
To sum this article up if you work 2 hours a day instead of 1 you will have worked an extra 9 plus weeks in a year. My question to you is this what can you get done with an extra 2 months or more, and do you think it just could make the difference in succeeding or not Time Management
