Whether you're a network marketer, affiliate marketer, both, or a traditional business owner, and you’re marketing online, you probably already know how important social media is. And currently, the undisputed king of social media sites is Facebook. With over 500 million users and growing, it’s not hard to see why Facebook can be a literal goldmine. One of the hottest things on Facebook right now, from a marketing point of view, is a Facebook page.
In this article, I will share five easy, but effective, ways you can use to promote your Facebook page and grow your Facebook presence:
1. Promote your Facebook page with a widget – You can convert your site visitors and blog readers to Facebook fans by utilizing the like-box-widget. If your giving away useful content on your blog, and you have a group of repeat visitors, it’s pretty easy to have those readers become fans on your page.
2. Put a link to your Facebook page on your LinkedIn profile – Similair to the first example, if you are already building a presence on LinkedIn, it would be a good idea to allow your connections a chance to link to your facebook fan page from your profile.
3. Put a link to your Facebook page on all your mail – That goes for both your email and offline mail. It is an easy method that can potentially give you some powerful results.
4. Promote your Facebook page on Youtube – Besides Facebook, Youtube is probably the next biggest social media monster. With billions and billions of people on Youtube, a simple but powerful way to promote your page is through Youtube marketing (video marketing). You can post some videos and place your link in the description box or the video itself.
5. Invite your existing list – If you have an existing opt-in list, send them an invite to check out your page. If they’re a subscriber your list, chances are you already have rapport with them and they would have no problem joining your page.
Developing your Facebook page may take some time, but it’s worth it. And just like you would promote your website, blog or capture page, if you want to grow your page, you’ll have to promote and drive traffic to it. While these are very simple methods of promoting your page, there are a multitude ways you can promote it and you are limited only by your own creativity. Don’t be afraid to try a few different ways so you can find out whichway works best for you.
