Pre selling is a skill, and if you are an affiliate, you will soon discover that pre selling is one skill that you must obtain. Pre selling is a skill that has been used for decades that entails getting visitors to your website and ready to buy your product before you send them to the checkout page. If you are an affiliate marketer, pre selling can make or smash your business.

Many people are led to think websites alone sell product, but this is only part true... the look and design of your website is significant, and it can gather quite a bit of attention, but the words on the page are even more important. Communicating with your audience on your web page is an important skill that is often misunderstood and underrated.

One of the most significant things you can do is to pre-sell your product before or even after your business and your internet site launches. Pre selling your product will increase your conversion and sales rates better than just blind selling it. And here's the best part, people will not put up their buying defense shields as quick with a pre sell advertisement like they would with a direct buy offer. Why? Because pre selling will educate them about the product and get them fascinated and excited in it before they have to make a choice to buy.

When learning the art of pre selling, the first thing you should focus on is learning how to communicate (connect) with your website visitors. Quite often we visualize the competition as a threat because they may have a complex internet site and spend loads of money developing and marketing that website. But in all honesty you are your only threat. You should not fear the competition because you have just as much to offer as the competition. You have your own unique style and that is your greatest asset. Pre selling involves a unique approach that no one else is using.

Pre selling involves developing your communication skills by which you communicate to your customers that you are trustworthy. People will always buy from people they like and trust. When you communicate to your visitors on your website they must like you and trust you. If you continue that you are reliable, with each visit your visitors will begin to like you. This type of communication is a skill you can learn.

Many people have the conception that a good quality writer is born with the gift. But writing is not a special gift that you must be born with to excel in it. Although there are many people who are talented writers, writing it is another skill that you can learn. To be good at pre selling your product you must learn how to write to communicate to your readers and not just to inform them.

Communicative writing is no different from communicative speaking. If you were speaking to an audience of potential customers you would choose your words carefully. You must also select your words carefully when writing to your website audience. So in essence, you must develop your writing skills as you would your speaking skills. The two go hand in hand.

Develop a solid pre sale foundation for your business. By implementing the pre sale idea not only will you reach your target audience but you will earn their trust and respect.
