Plenty of people begin an online business while working a job. The simple fact that you chose an online business puts you in a leading position because most of the time you can work wherever there’s an internet connection.
So you have to be imaginative while taking the necessary steps that are needed to building an online business.
When dealing with a job, family, and life in general it can be frustrating and overwhelming at times so you must have the right mindset, the right initiative and approach to building an online business and in the process of working you must be realistic and know that it takes time its not gonna happen overnight.
Here are some simple steps to take so you can balance your days and activities. The purpose is to work at least 15 hours of profitable time per week into building your online business.
1. Talk to your partner about your business schedule. You should also allow your significant other and kids to participate in helping out in the business and always do this on a regular basis. You want them to know when your available so that you can be open for family time. If this involves you then connection is the key in this particular case.
2. You always want to be working on something when you get a break at work so start packing a brown bag lunch instead of going out to eat and begin practicing for your next video, blog post or article that you want to write about. If you have the time to shoot a video then go ahead and do it.
a. Depending on what type of camera you may have you can do a video while in your car or a park that’s close by and when you finally get home go ahead and upload the video onto You Tube and the other video sites as well.
b. You should always know what plan of action your going to be taking during your business hours so when it comes to these occasions you can use this time constructively that’s where a schedule comes in at.
3. A schedule allows you to have your agenda planned out each week and you need to dedicate at least 8-15 hours of time producing activities. If you do this on a consistent basis then you should be able to progress for the following week.
4. You may have to let go of some other activities to gain long term success. Instead of watching tv as much you may have to catch your tv shows at a later date or maybe even record them. Your main focus right now should be on building your online business so that you can have the free time later on to do whatever it is you want to do.
5. Be certain that you’re using your time wisely to building your online business. Don’t get busy doing non profitable activities. Your focus should either be on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, doing videos or calling your leads that you have accumulated, regardless of which one of these features your using this is what you want to keep your mind on so that you are constantly growing your online business.
Building a business can be hard at times but only you can make it happen by making the time needed to build an online business while working your job. I myself know I’m a living witness and I must admit that it becomes very challenging at times, but I always manage it out because I’m determined to be financially independent soon.
The main focus here is to never ever quit and stay true to your business plan no matter what happens its gonna save you a whole lot of time and trouble in the future.
