I just picked up the latest web site promotion software by Alexandr Krulik called Magic Submitter, so I thought I'd do a little review. Upon startup of Magic Submitter you are presented with a quite simple and easy to utilize interface. The presentation is very similar to Alexandr's other products, Magic Article Rewriter and Magic Article Submitter.
Magic Submitter is not only an automated submitter, but an automatic account creator and email link verifier. There are dozens of inbuilt services for blogs, video sites, social bookmarking, article directories and rss sites. There's even the ability to generate free email accounts to use for registration at the whole set of web 2.0 services. One of the nicest features of this program is that it has a designer mode that can be used to add any site's sign up and submission procedures. This Magic Submitter review is targeted on the initial account creation with the in-built services.
I want to point out that I didn't make a free email account. I used a new email account created on one of my domains. Some Web 2.0 services don't let you enroll with a free email account, so I opted to utilize my own email account to give Magic Submitter the benefit of the doubt.
You will need to make a user profile that contains a user name, real name, address, website ans site name. Additionally , you will need to enter your email settings and password so Magic Submitter can confirm email confirmations on your behalf after the account creations.
If you've ever signed up at any website on the net you already know you have to enter CAPTCHA's. CAPTCHA's are the little squiggly words you need to type into a box to confirm that you are human. With Magic Submitter you are able to either do this manually, or use a separate service call decaptcher.com. For a fee they'll automatically crack the CAPTCHA for you.
Magic Submitter is multi-threaded, meaning you can choose to have 1 to 3 browser windows registering accounts at one time. If you have a fast computer and fast internet connection you ought to use the maximum three browsers to improve registration speed.
I signed up with all services. The whole procedure took approximately 3 hours. The "slowness" of the process was mostly thanks to a delay in CAPTCHA solving by decaptcher.com. At times I would have the program minimized so I could work on other things. I would bring the program back up periodically to find out if there were any problems. If Magic Submitter was stuck on anything it would hold that browser window to give the consumer a chance to fix it. There were times that Magic Submitter couldn't locate a reference text field. If this occurred I would manually input the required data and click a "complete" button, which tells Magic Submitter that the account creation is complete. Magic Submitter will then use your profile data to login to that account.
Some of the blog and article sites have need of user actions that Magic Submitter can't automate. When these appear Magic Submitter will let you know what to do. An example of a typical user required action is a web site will mail a unique password to the e-mail account. The user must manually check the e-mail account and retrieve the password and input it manually into Magic Submitter for that account. Other user required actions may be that the user must manually login to the account and do other account setup. Don't be concerned, there aren't a lot of sites that need user input. These are for the most part blog web-sites. It is nice that Magic Submitter enables you to sign up at these sites, as it gives more choices for submissions down the road.
I was able to effectively enroll at approximately 98% of all sites from the 5 categories. I completed the user required actions on something like 12 web sites total. After all the registration is finished you will need to click "check emails". Magic Submitter will then download and read all the emails and click on all of the verification links. In total, I successfully signed up for over 110 services. It needs to be noted the article directories are the top tier. From all the accounts, over 30 were blogs, which is very commanding to be sure.
To be direct, the Magic Submitter Account Creation process had a higher success rate than I had expected. The next step is to do a Magic Submitter Submission Review.
