Christmas is right around the corner! This means that it is time to kick it into over drive if you are the owner of a Stampin' Up blog! I do not know the business as well as you do, but I can tell you that I see Christmas being a very lucrative time of year for you guys. I have been looking around at the different craft ideas that have been displayed on different Stampin' Up blogs, and I have seen a few of them that are really good! It is so nice having someone walk you through these different projects. I am definitely not creative, so I like having the resources you guys offer.
I found a craft on SplitCoast Stampers that was really good! The Felt Coffee Sleeve is a great personal gift that can keep on giving all year long, or can be designed to be more of a holiday thing. It is really easy to make, because most of the tools that you need in order to make this item are found at home. The other ones you can purchase at Stampin' Up. My mom and my aunt are crazy about their Starbucks coffee. Every time they get to together, they wind up going to get a cup of coffee. For those of you that are running a Stampin' Up blog, this is a great example of a craft that people are going to want to use over and over again. Let's face it, everyone loves coffee.
Stampin' Jo is the name of a Stampin' Up blog ran by Josee Smuck. She has some really good card ideas for the Christmas season. You can find the rest of her collection that she is displaying on her blog. Each set has a picture of the finish product, as well as a list of supplies that you will need in order to put it together, all of which can be found on the Stampin' Up website. On the right of this Stampin' Up blog, you can click the PayPal button, and Josee will send you her 2010-2011 idea catalogue.
Of course, what would a good article about Stampin' Up gift ideas be if I did not add a recommendation for a good stamp set! In keeping with the spirit of the season, I found a stamp set that is elegant and fun, and would make a great gift in and of itself. The Gifts of Christmas Stamp Set can be found on the Stampin' Up main website. The stamps have a very modern look, especially in the flowers. The dove and the cursive writing really make it feel like it has a Christmas oriented theme. This would be a perfect gift for you to give to the creative person in your life, and can even be a great way to touch up some of your own holiday projects.
So there you have it. These are some of the ideas that I know the people in my life would like. Thanks for taking the time to check out my recommendations. There are a lot more out there, so just do a quick Google search for Stampin' Up blogs and see all the great things that different demonstrators have to offer.
