Many that have Satellite TV now say they can't do without it. You can't blame these people -- it's extreme pleasure for many to relax after a hard day's job and watch the best channels from the comfort of one's home.

There are many reasons why people now prefer Satellite TV to Cable TV.

Satellite TV offers subscribers access to information and the usual traditional channels. With all the channels that exist on Satellite TV, you just can't go wrong with the experience.

Kids now have their own pick at the children channels they want to watch -- from the diverse array of children channels to watch on Satellite TV.

Lots of people find Satellite TV easy to own because of its affordability.
Affordability is a factor that has worked very well to the favor of Satellite TV.

The cost of Cable TV is much more than Satellite TV. I've talked to many others and most confirm they are shocked about this point.

More should cost more, not less.

It certainly makes no economic sense for you to keep paying more money yet receiving less when you can pay less somewhere else and receive more.

Satellite TV gives users basically any category of channels/programs to choose from.

Satellite TV can't be compared to any other at the moment -- with their comedy channels, movie channels, information channels, music channels, etc, you have a lot to choose from. This is very much unlike your usual Cable TV subscription where you get less variety. No matter how you slice it -- cost is still a very big determinant in the reasons why people now prefer Satellite TV; they cost less and provide more.

If your problem is how to switch over from Cable TV to Satellite TV, note that this is done for free by most Satellite TV companies.

Finally, if you have been sitting on the fence about Satellite TV, it's time to get off the fence and start enjoying the wonders of the technology.
