Wowgreen started off as a network marketing company that focused primarily on "green" friendly cleaning products. Now, we see that Wowgreen has branched off into a new product line, selling a super food health drink that they call WowGo. I am not really sure what to think about this decision. On the one hand, I understand that companies need to advance and change in order to stay competitive. The health drink niche has been a pretty popular one in the network marketing industry, so who can blame Wowgreen for trying to come up with a new product to expand their range? On the other hand, WowGo does not seem to be offering more than the other health products out there, offered by companies like Symmetry Direct, along with others.
Wowgreen has done one thing right with WowGo, however. They have attacked a specific niche within the health drink market, and that is Aphanizomenon Flos-Aquae, or AFA. Essentially, Wowgreen is calling this a super mineral that provides your body with nutrients found only deep inside the earth, and only available to us through the lake created after a major volcanic eruption. I can appreciate that. Unfortunately, the only downside to this product is that the health benefits are basically the same as the health benefits that "may" happen if you consume any other company's super food drink. Because of this, I feel that the product may do well for a while, but will eventually fall back into the crowd. WowGo is undoubtedly good for you, but I have to ask Wowgreen why I would purchase that product instead of any other health product with the same benefits. Wowgreen claims that Wowgo has an ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) of ten to twenty times that of Mona Vie, but other companies claim to have an ORAC value one hundred times that of Mona Vie.
Wowgreen is going to have to stick with the "green" cleaning products if they want to stand out and be noticed. They have been dominating that niche for a while now, and I can understand and appreciate their desire to tackle a new area of sales, but I think that their best bet is going to be putting their efforts into attracting distributors who are interested in having a business selling high quality cleaning products. WowGo may prove to be a fruitless endeavor on behalf of Wowgreen. I hope I am wrong, because this company has a great business plan in place that makes a lot of people a lot of money. Hopefully WowGo becomes another another means of income for the Wowgreen distributors.
At the end of the day, having success with Wowgreen is not contingent upon the ORAC value of WowGo, or any other minute detail such as that. People that make the most money with Wowgreen are good at doing one thing, and that is finding other people with a passion for what Wowgreen stands for. The best salesman truly believes in what he or she is selling, and the best network marketers are experts in finding people that feel the same way. If a Wowgreen distributor makes money with Wowgreen, it is going to be made creating a strong, independent downline. This is done by marketing yourself in a way that attracts people to you, who feel the same way that you do, regardless of the product. In conclusion, I think that WowGo can be either a benefit or a waste for Wowgreen, depending the quality and mindset of its distributors.
