It's been over a decade since we first met Buzz Lightyear and he still continues to set our Children's imaginations on fire. First thing, right, is that his job is just awesome. Who wouldn't love to be a Jet Pack wielding Space Ranger locked in an endless struggle against an evil emperor bent on destroying the galaxy. He has a Jet Pack space suit made of adamantium that has extending wings and can withstand almost any attack - even from telepaths. He has a lazer in his suit arm and a fully functional galaxy-range communication device that allows him to communicate to his Space Ranger buddies wherever he is.
Buzz Lightyear is the hero every 6 year old boy wants to be and that's precisely why he has endured such loving adoration all through the years and, with the release of Toy Story 3 this year, is exactly the reason why millions of children around the world have already added him to their 2010 Christmas lists.
