There is a new travel network marketing company in town that is gettting a lot of attention called Globe Travel Network, or GTN. You’ve probably already gotten an email about it or a message in your inbox on Facebook from an excited GTN rep. But, before you go and join, I want to recommend that you read this article first so you can make an informed decision. In this review, I will go into what GTN is and the compensation plan that they have.
First things first, GTN is a very new company that is set to officially launch in the first week of August, 2010. Since they're not launched yet, there is limited information on the internet on them. In fact, the GTN site looks like a blog, with a few posts on it and a countdown-clock that is counting down to the launch date. What’s clearly evident is that it is a new company that is positioning themselves to capitalize on the $8 billion travel industry. It is vital to note that while there are some travel companies that are cuurently doing well, there have also been several companies that have fizzled despite having a hyped-up beginning. Of course, that doesn’t mean that GTN will not be successful. But it's important to know, especially if you are seriously thinking about joining.
The company CEO is John Breck. And, rumor has it that Rod Cook, from mlmwatchdog.com is also involved. If that rumor is true, then it certainly gives GTN some credibility since Cook is a well respected person in the network marketing industry, In addition, on some of the websites I’ve seen, it says the corporate team has a combined 100 years of experience in network marketing.
GTN's product is a membership that revolves around time shares. With GTN's membership, you can have access to 4,200 resorts around the world for as low as $299 and as high as $950. Also, the membership wil save you the upfront costs of buying an actual time share. The cost of the membership is $199.95 plus a processing fee (and then $99.95 for future vacations).
As far as the opportunity goes, right now during the pre-launch, it is free to join and lock a spot in the binary.Once the company launches, you will need to “upgrade” and pay an entry fee (I couldn’t find what the entry fee would be). It seems as though they are going out of their way to provide their reps with an internet marketing platform by putting together landing pages, autoresponders, online movies and a host of other tools.
The pay plan is a binary with a 2-up coded bonus. Again, there’s not a lot of information available on the compensation plan. However, according to some sites I’ve seen, you’ll be able to make money with retail sales, direct commissions, leveraged earning from your team’s production and residual income. I believe the income you’ll make from your team’s production will be in the form of $50 cycle bonuses. The cycle bonus will be $50 every time you cycle.
You will get a chance to get paid daily, weekly and monthly. And, your income will be paid to you via a debit card for convenience.
It’s too early to tell how successful GTN will be. There has been a handful of travel based programs that have not been able to live up to the hype. However, if GTN becomes the next big thing in the network marketing industry, it may be worth holding a spot since it’s currently free to join. If you do decide to lock in a position and they become a big name in the industry, you'll still nee do to market and generate leads online if you plan on building a wildly successful business.By combining a powerful attraction marketing system with GTN’s platform (and getting positioned early), you can potentially be on your way to building a wildly prosperous business for yourself.

Sadly, most GTN reps will never achieve the success they want because they lack the marketing skills needed to sponsor 10-20 reps a month.
