A bunch of unannounced phones were disclosed to the public just recently where two of the most sought after are the HTC Ace & HTC Vision leaked roadmaps. This hot topic has been going around the internet that consumers can find a great deal of write-ups on these two subjects.
Seeing that the HTC Ace & HTC Vision leaked roadmap does not really count as an official report regarding these two smartphones from this Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer, we can only speculate on what these two will be able to offer the consumers.
Ace
Of course, without any official statement from the company, little is known about the HTC Ace, also known as the Desire HD. Nevertheless, this alternate name for this smartphone which was taken from its predecessor, the HTC Desire, already speaks a lot about what we can expect from this mobile phone.
From what's been gathered about the Ace, it seems that it's quite a powerful device since it will run the Android v2.2 operating system, also known as the Froyo. This OS speaks loads, especially when paired with the 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is one of the fastest and most sophisticated chips for mobile phones today.
While some people may argue that there's really nothing special about this phone if it simply features an OS and a processor that have both been seen on other models of smartphone, this device is not just about software and platform. The display panel of this mobile device is also one to watch out for especially since it's dubbed as one of the largest screens found in a mobile phone. Indeed, the 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display is one to look out for.
When talking about the camera, HTC Ace will go for one of the highest with its 8-megapixel camera. This is one of the largest figures for resolution on mobile phone cameras, the only phone that will be able to top it is the Nokia N8 (12 megapixels) which won't be out until October.
The moment you find out that the internal storage of this mobile phone is 4 GB, you'd probably wonder why you'd still need that microSD card slot. Nonetheless, if you're one of those who like to keep music and video files in their mobile phone, then the slot will serve its purpose.
Other interesting rumours circulating include the Xvid playback, Adobe Flash 10 support, SRS Surround Sound and automatic face tracking feature.
Vision
Much like the HTC Ace, the Vision smartphone will also run an Android operating system on a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, but of older version, the Android v2.1. The Ace may have an edge over the Vision, considering that the screen is only a 3.7-inch touchscreen. What's interesting with this handset is the fact that even though it has a big panel, it still comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard.
Availability
The HTC Ace & HTC Vision leaked roadmap may have included a little information regarding the two phones but there's no word on the pricing. What the HTC Ace & HTC Vision leaked roadmap has made known is the release date which will be on October.
