If you’re reading this review, chances are you’re looking for more information on Agel. Perhaps you found their site or perhaps you were approached by an Agel rep. Either way, it’s important to get some background information on the company, especially if you’re seriously thinking about becoming a distributor. In this short article, I’ll go into Agel’s background, the products, the compensation plan and, most importantly, whether or not they are the real deal or just another fly-by-night company.

Agel is a company that sells nutritional products through a network marketing, or multilevel marketing, business model. The company was started in 2005 and is currently based in Utah. Although they’ve only been around for a very short time, they’re currently operating in 55 countries.

The company’s founder, Glen Jenson, has been involved with other network marketing companies, including Neways and Nuskin. Just recently, Jenson joined the World Federation Of Direct Selling Associations.Agel's management team is comprised of some very experienced business people. In addition, the field leadership has some big names in the network marketing industry who are great at training and developing new distributors into competent leaders.

As far as the products go, Agel has been successful in creating a unique spin to marketing nutritional products. While there are dozens of other network marketing companies selling vitamins, powders and juices, Agel sells their product in a gel form. By marketing a nutritional product in a gel form, customers can absorb the contents of the product in a more efficient manner than if it was a pill or juice.

Agel started with 4 different gel products, but have expanded their product line to 10 gel products. A few examples of their gel products are: Agel Body, Agel Core, Agel Thrive and Agel Active. Depending on which gel you consume, some of the said benefits are increased energy, weight loss, immune system support and cleansing of your digestive system.

An interesting characteristic about Agel’s gel products are that they are both Kosher and Halal certified, making them marketable in Jewish and Muslim market places. It is this ease of marketability of their products that has permitted Agel to grow at such a fast pace.

Obviously, if you’re looking to use or market Agel’s products, I highly recommend that you do your due diligence on them so you feel comfortable talking to other people about them.

As far as the business opportunity goes, you can become an Agel distributor by paying for your distributorship (and initial product order) and then maintaining a minimum monthly product order, also known as autoship. The compensation plan operates on a binary model and allows you to make money in several ways. Some of the ways you can make money are retail sales, first order bonus, executive bonus, residual income and matching checks. Also, there are incentives like monthly expense accounts and a luxury car program. All in all, there seems to be a good balance of upfront and back-end income available in the compensation plan.

In closing, Agel is definitely not a scam. They have a strong management team, a unique and high quality product line and a generous compensation plan. However, simply joining Agel will not automatically make you successful. At the end of the day, your success will rely on whether or not you can recruit people and market products on a consistent basis. And accomplishing these two things successfully, will depend on your ability to generate leads for your Agel business.

I recommend that you use a self branded attraction marketing system that will teach you and allow you to generate more leads than you can get to. If you can accomplish that, you can be on your way to building a very prosperous Agel business.

Sadly, most Agel reps will never achieve the success they want because they lack the marketing skills needed to sponsor 10-20 reps a month.
