10 Words to Remember When Asked the “What Is It About?” Question Regarding Network Marketing

If you are linked or affiliated with Network Marketing then you're familiar with asking people if they are concerned in producing some added money or starting a venture for themselves. Take into account when you first began your business venture? How excited you were and ready to talk to one and all that came within handshake distance of you? Recollect your upline informing you not to talk to anyone about the business opportunity since you might give too much information or not relay the information the correct way? We’ve all went through this in our early stages of our Network Marketing business.

The next stage was to contact everyone on our list and ask them the questions that our uplines coached us to ask and to get the would-be prospects on a three-way call with one of the veteran business partners after they’ve been edified by you. Does all of this sound traditional to you? We’ve all experienced getting in contact with someone on our list that was whole-heartedly interested in our Network Marketing business but what went wrong? Our upline expert was not available to do the three-way call because of some unseen event beyond our power. What now? Our upline didn’t prime us for this! What do you say to somebody that has a sincere interest in bettering their economic state? Better yet, one that has their credit card ready but has concerns that needs to be addressed. Do you say to them that you’ll call them back with a professional and expect that they stay super engrossed with getting started?

How about talking to someone that you’re running with or enjoying lunch with and the discussion comes up about what you do and you tell them, “I show people how to get an extra check delivered to their house every month.” (That was just a nugget that you can add to your collection as well. It makes them ask you “How do you do that?”) What this does is lets you know if you have an interested or uninterested individual and if you should invest any more of your time conversating about your Network Marketing business opportunity. If, after you ask that question and the response is pessimistic, don’t press the subject. Change the subject. If they ask the question that tells you they are concerned, then proceed to use these 10 magic words, “GLAD YOU ASKED, I KNEW THAT YOU’D BE INTERESTED.”

There is a psychology following this account. Allow me put in plain words. Remember when you were in grade school and answered a question properly and the schoolteacher gave you accolades for answering correctly. How did you feel? You felt a sense of success because you have just been rewarded for being acknowledged for being correct. This is how your potential business associate will feel once you give them credit about how right they are once they ask you the question, “What’s it about?” Those 10 magic words triggers a button in the mind of the hearer, that they have just asked you the “right” question. At this stage, though they are not in control of the discussion, they feel that they are. At this point, building the number one point at this time, YOU, not your Network Marketing business is the best way to present your Network Marketing opportunity. Where you send them for information is the most critical point of gaining and retaining , or losing a likely business partner for your Network Marketing opportunity.
